Metropolitan Custom is a fine carpentry and custom millwork shop serving New York. We design and build custom kitchens, cabinetry, built-ins, and furniture inside — and decks, fences, and garden spaces outside. About half of our work lives outdoors, and handling both under one roof is what sets us apart: one design language, one schedule, one contractor accountable for all the millwork in your home.

Joinery, materials, and finishes chosen to last a lifetime — not just to look good on install day. If we wouldn’t put it in our own homes, we won’t put it in yours.
Straight talk
Honest assessments, clear written estimates, and no promises we can’t keep. If something isn’t buildable in your space or budget, we’ll say so and offer what is.
